#DIY Move or Hire #Movers?

Well, it's official....we're MOVING!  We finally found a house and now we've got less than 6 weeks to pack up and move out.

One of the many things on my moving to-do list is to coordinate the move.  Now in the past, we'd rent a truck and bribe a few friends with beer and pizza to help get us to our new home. But that was a long time ago and we're much older and much less inclined to do copious amounts of heavy lifting.  So my question to you is:

How do you decide to DIY or hire someone to do it for you?
When is it worth forking over your hard-earned cash to save time, energy and avoid a lot of stress?  That's what's churning in my head this morning.  The thought of moving our entire house, 2 kids and 2 dogs out of town ourselves doesn't seem terribly appealing.  But then the idea of spending $1000 or more for someone else to do it  doesn't sound that great either.

If you have any tips on making those thrifty vs. convenient decisions, let me know.  Or maybe you know a moving company that will work for coffee and smiles and dog cuddles.

  1. Good story! Thanks you a lot for information!
I hope I can do the same as you did, because I think that I need to hire these guys
But now I think I'm going to ask my friend to help me with all my stuff=)

  2. First of all, find black listed movers packers from website and keep them aside. Make sure that the movers and packers company you choose do not fall in the category. Don't hire their services even if they offer at lower rates. sarasota storage

  3. A good story about the move. Once I had the same story, but I immediately knew that I would need them https://movers.best/orange-county/aliso-viejo-movers. I have long been advised to use the services of professionals, it helps speed up the process and do not spend a lot of energy and nerves in it. This is the best way to resolve such issues.

  4. It is very easy for your house to be overwhelmed by clutter to a point where you just can't seem to find anything anymore. Regular purchases can leave your home with plenty of junk, especially when you do not take the initiative of disposing what you don't need any more or what you have replaced. It is also easy for junk to build up after you have renovated or refurbished your home. Too much junk can make your home uncomfortable and even harder to clean. Luckily, you can use junk removal services to create a safe and clean household. When seeking the services, however, you need to ensure that you get the best company for a clean job at the end of the day. Junk Removal Services
