So after hunting through antique stores and online sites I found a set that is solid and simple and perfect for the new house. It just needs a little sprucing up. You can't beat a solid wood table with 2 leaves, 6 chairs and a buffet for $150!
The plan is a quick chair recovering adventure and then I'm gonna get my chalk on with some paint for the table and buffet. I love the natural wood patina of the chairs so I think just a fabric change will give them new life.
I love the idea of leaving the top it's wood colour and using a vibrant shade for the legs!

This white wash is gorgeous and since our new place has amazing dark hand scraped wood floors, the white would look fantastic against the floors.
