Sweet & Savoury Chocolate Pretzel Bark #glutenfree

Need a last minute Valentine's Day gift? Well, look no further!  My Sweet & Savoury Chocolate Pretzel Bark recipe will make your sweetie swoon, and the best part...it's ridiculously easy, super yummy and gluten-free!

Ingredients:

1 - 1.5 cups of Glutino Buffalo Style Pretzels
1- 1.5 cups of Glutino Honey Mustard Pretzels
1 - 2 bags of Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips ( or any chocolate chips you like)
1 cup of Dried Cherries
Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  Spread your pretzels and cherries on the sheet in a single layer.  Next, melt your chocolate chips in a double boiler or a microwave if you have one.  Then pour your liquid chocolate over your pretzels and cherries.  Use a spatula to spread the chocolate around or gently shake your pan side to side to help coat everything.  While your chocolate is still setting, add your sprinkles to the top for some fun.  Then pop your pan into the fridge to set for about 20 to 30 minutes.  Once your chocolate has completely hardened, break into pieces of bark.

I placed a few pieces in some adorable Valentine's Day bags as teacher gifts for my daughter's class.  The combination of spicy and salty pretzels with the sweetness of the cherries and chocolate makes for a delightful taste combination.  Your special someone will be in flavour heaven!  Plus, they will be amazed by your culinary talents...so don't mention it only took you a couple minutes to put together. And trust me, it's just so good that you may need to make need to make a second batch just for yourself!

  1. I was just thinking about chocolate covered pretzels this morning, so perhaps this is a sign for me to make some this weekend.
